- Business development in Africa, Middle East and Asia scoping partner selection, value chain analysis and launch planning for a large UK-based FMCG business.
- Marketing and sales director for a multi-sector distribution business in Saudi Arabia with a team of over 200 turning a declining business into 15% growth
- SBU strategy and followed by implementation for UK OTC division in large US pharmaceutical group (Schering–Plough now Merck). Subsequent growth was over 300% supported by award winning digital marketing initiated during my secondment.
- Creation of new Modern Trade division in Khartoum, Sudan from three separate business units in partnership with Kantar Retail Middle East. The client is the largest privately owned business in Sudan with turnover in excess of $1.5bn
In addition, I worked for Unilever for 15 years with roles based in India, Egypt, Dubai and the UK in sectors including foods, personal care and OTC diagnostics.
I am a long-standing member of the Marketing Society and hold a Post Graduate qualification in Executive Coaching.
